Welcome to Bite & Other Bits

Greetings, mortals. I’m so pleased you have come to hear my story. The arts are something that humans tend to forget about but vampires know the true importance of keeping them alive, for they do give us all a reason to live. I’m very impressed by your support of this art form and of local artists. I shall keep that in mind the next time I get a little hungry… While my story is very fascinating, I know how you humans have such short attention spans and need to stretch out your mortal bodies so the performance is broken into two acts with a 20 minute intermission for you. The coven will be outside after the show and are dying to meet you. I do hope you enjoy this tale of how I came to be.

Your host,

Isabel

The Vampire Coven

Isabel, Your Host, played by Lorraine Carter-Larocque

Isabel will be your host for the evening. She was born in Calais, France 622 years ago. She is incredibly smart as she has spent her life reading and learning everything there is to know. She has a passion for the arts and is thrilled to share her story with you tonight. She is a true supporter of the arts but artists dare not disappoint her as she will happily dine on a mediocre artist. When she’s not busy taking in the latest show, he spends her time traveling the world.

Lilith played by Ashley Sonnier, Asst. Artistic Director

Lilith hails from the Ortega bloodline and ruled as a Duchess in the 17th century Spain. During her human life, people ensured her every need was met and all the finest delicacies were at her beck and call. Lilith grew tired and bored of the groveling and brown nosing of the upper society, and called upon her maker to give her vampire strength. With her intimidating new power and bloodlust, Lilith had a fine time terrifying, seducing and dining on the upper society of Madrid. Lilith used that same intimidation and power to become the Queen of the vampire coven. When not hunting prey or bullying the coven members, she sits as chairwoman of the Corgi Fanatic Foundation.

Christine played by Megan Stern

Christine is the newest member of our coven. She’s a 26 year old from Silverspring, Maryland. She loves any kind of cake but especially lemon lavender. Prior being turned she worked as a bank teller. The bank quickly replaced her after she didn’t show up to work. She was always easily overlooked as a human, but will that change in her new vampire life?

Thana played by Fallon Voorheis-Mathews, Founder & Artistic Director

Thana was born a vampire in 1399 in a small village outside of Paris. As such, she is the oldest vampire in our coven. In her human life, she was born to a poor family. Her maker released her from the pain of her human life and allowed her to grow the ranks in high society. She has grown accustomed to the finer things in life and has quite the collection of haute couture. When not on the hunt she can be found smoking and people watching at cafes in Paris. Her favorite food is AB-, the rarest blood type. Such a delicacy!

Victoria played by Nicole Londraville

Victoria was born in London 147 years ago. Prior to her transition, she was a lady of the night trying to make ends meet for her younger siblings. She is one of the meanest vampires in the coven as she would rather be hunting alone. She doesn’t give much thought to anyone, let alone herself. Her most treasured possession is a picture of her human family.

Madame Sang Bleu played by Maggie Chapman

This Parisian was a dancer at the Moulin Rouge before she was turned by her maker. Since her prime human years were in the 1920s she still has an affinity for the golden age of jazz. She’s easy to spot in a crowd with her long legs and striking short black hair. This temptress loves to stare deeply into her victim’s souls. She loves the kill.

Eva played by Erica Martin

This long legged socialite comes to us from Bath, England. This vamp is quiet but quick witted and calculated in both speech and movement. When not on the hunt for her next snack she can be found enjoying the finer things in life such as painting, playing the piano, and enjoying a slice of indulgent cake.

Adelaide played by Casey Pottle

Adelaide was born an orphan in 1885 in London. She spent her human life as a maid servant in a wealthy manor where she acquired a taste for tea and scones. The last thing she remembers of her human life is an illicit affair with the manor’s son. She despises those who exhibit selfish lust as it brings up her own insecurities. The only way she deals with with this anger is with revenge served cold.

Ballari played by Karlyn Griswold

Drucilla played by Leah Grandstaff

Drucilla hails from Aberfeldy, Scotland. She died at 44 human years and is not keen on revealing how many years she’s been undead. Ever since her maker changed her, she’s been completely obsessed with her fangs. She can be found polishing them constantly. Maybe she thinks she can clean off the regret of killing a past lover…or maybe it’s to combat her fear of spontaneous combustion.
